Budget bureau leadership changes
Stephen Schnorf, Bureau of the Budget director, will be interim director of Illinoisé Department of Central Management Services. He replaces Michael Schwartz, who announced he will take early retirement. Deputy budget Director Mike Colsch will serve as interim bureau director. The appointments take effect October 1.

Gaming board shifts
Gary Peterlin, an Ogelsby resident who is the former LaSalle County stateés attorney, has been appointed to the Illinois Gaming Board to replace Gregory Jones, a Chicago attorney. Replacing Jones as chairman is Elzie Higginbottom, a Chicago realty executive. Former Judge Tobias Barry, a LaSalle attorney, was reappointed to a full term.
